Hehehe. I remember when Ford published this.
I was working at a Chevrolet store, and and we got updates about the Toyota Tundra launch at least twice a day. This picture was from GM, stated with a 250 lb load on the tailgate....
250 lbs is me with a big toolbox in my hand.
The Tundra was just not ready to play in this market.

Not in the least bit. I always laugh whenever I see someone buy a Tundra. It's like they think it's a real truck.

Toyota responded to critics saying the frame wasn't stout enough by refreshing the body and leaving the frame and drivetrain the same.
